I didn't mention MotoCorsa becuase I wasn't sure they'd take/work on a Triumph.

Nope.  Salty posted first with the question.  He's looking to get tires mounted.

I just related the story of Kaptain Kidd, my buddy with the Triumph, who is going through a similar conundrum.

80 bucks or so at EDR vs. 130 bucks at Portland Moto.

that's all.  Smiley

Get some soap, some sticky weights, and a pair of large C-clamps

use C-clamps to remove tire from wheel

loob tire

put tire on wheel, they slide right on (make sure rotation is in proper direction)

then slide the axle through the wheel

set the axle on a pair of surfaces so the tire can spin free

apply weights with duct tape first not factory sticky

Starting at the old weight location, adjust weight amount and location till tire doesn't move when rotated to any position

take off duct tape and apply weights with factory sticky

and

Viola

job well done

Who is this chick Viola and can I get her to touch my tires too? Chicks touching my rubber is hot... if they speak French and say things like "Bonjour" and "voila".... or "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?"

I remember paying EDR like $20 a tire last time I had tires put on . . . and they cleaned and lubed the chain while they were down there!  bow down

Guess from below that's all changed now  Embarrassed
