Bike was fine when I passed by it.  Walked over to the Path and came out in 5 minutes to find her like this

bang head bang head bang head bang head

I always park outside the Path station cause the LEO's hang out there but no one saw anything?  This sucks!

OUCH!! That sucks...couldnt tell you how many drunks Ive seen try to mount my bike. I usually lock the forks and for some reason that seems to stop them from doing anything stupid.

ps: were you the guy who pulled up next to me @ washington and observer highway? If you were thats a sharp looking 695 and I hope there wasnt too much damage.

That sucks! Hoboken parking is brutal, and cars get damaged daily.  Parking your bike on the street there is a disaster waiting to happen.

That was me that pulled up to you Hobokenhooligan. Thanks but she aint that sharp no more  Undecided  Perfect weather and wknd for this to happen too bang head

Yes I picked it up and rode home.  There is a DEEP scratch on the gas tank but I dont think it is dented, handle bar is all gashed up, bent front brake lever, broken right foot peg. I had to ride home with my right foot on the passenger peg and only using my front brakes.

BTW - what do I need to take off the passenger peg and put it in the front?  I looked at it while I was out there and it felt like maybe a small allen wrench may be needed but I have not brought myself to go and look at her since I parked her in the garage.  Anyone know?

just remove the E clip with a pick and drift the pin out, hold your hand over the peg and slowly pull it out, its made of two plates a spring and a bearing, dont want that to fly out.

do the same with the front, but this time, there is no bearing, so you cant use the front on the rear, but you can do it the otherway around. just make sure you install the spring appropriately and your done.

Done!  Thank you!  Doubt I will replace the peg in the back since I cant remember the last time I had a passenger.  Now I can ride this weekend chug
