I guess I was one of the first to jump on the Ti tank bolt kit he slapped together. It's a subtle but noticeable change if you're used to looking at your bike. The common folk won't be able to tell the difference anyway so this is more of a personal mod..
It's refreshing to my eyes. Besides the silver gas cap, it breaks up the dullness of the tank area.. In my opinion.

So this gives me an idea.  I took out the tank bolts and measure, M5 x 12mm.  I happens to have several stainless steel cap bolts of that size, so I put them on.  I really like the contrast it gives to the tank.  No it doesn't have the cool taper head, however.  But not bad... I like:

It's more personal taste than anything. Just something else on the list to do..  waytogo

I eventually will turn my bike into a "Dark" so this will add some contrast to the tank portion as in peanut_man's case.

Thats also one of my favorite ways of personalising my bikes but I prefare my Ti in a gold finish and yes its the kind of mod thats only noticed by fellow ducatisti  waytogo
