Has anyone had any luck with matching red powdercoating to the Ducati red frame? I am contemplating doing my case covers and swing-arm. And I would like to go with the durability of powdercoating rather than paint.

Member Pompetta has done it, although I'm not sure if it's paint or coat.

Send him a PM to find out?

The fashion police part of me say no to red case covers - too much red/wrong place. But if you like the idea, go for it waytogo

I've just had the wheels on my hypermotard powder coated red by a guy over here in the UK and the colour is almost a perfect match plus he also lacquered them.  applause
I'm sorry that its not much help to you guys on the other side of the pond but it is possible to get a red powder coating done that works with the factory ducati red.  waytogo
