I have the Platinum on the rear of the bike, and it is amazing how much dust comes off those tiny little pads, to confirm what Spider as said above.
While I had the rear apart to install the Painted swingarm, I installed a new set of pads and replaced all the fluid in the rear brake system, I am still amazed at how much air was in the system
bedding in the new rear pads put an amazing amount of dust all over the rear wheel.
Having said that though, at least the rear brake has some decent stopping ability now, when I bought the bike I figured the rear brake must be an optional extra, because every time I pressed the brake peddle, nothing happened!
But the Sintered (or XR as they are referred to now) Were excellent for there lack of dust, even during the bedding in process, they weren't to bad, and offered amazing feel and stopping power.
