hey Emile...they let me hang out here, so they can't be that particular... Grin

Now if we could only get the dude with the red streetfighter over here.  I've been trying to talk him into coming out on a ride or so, but don't think that will get anywhere.  Kind of get the impression he would rather just spend money and look at it than ride the poor thing...

anybody know when the next sunday ride is?

Well, actually, really & truly not to be a smartass, I think that if you are referring to the Jose'/South Seas Ducati meet-up & ride on Sunday that should be happening Feb. 14th, Valentine's day, unless it gets changed.

So...  Isn't it about time for Jose to send out the sms/email?

You'd think so.  It'd be nice to have the 848 done by then but I'm not holding my breath.

We shall see.  Not sure if I am going to go out on this one anyhow.  Last couple of them have been a bit of a cluster make the beast with two backs.

Got the message from Jose' today. He wants to go on Saturday morning.  That automatically takes me out of the picture.

Got the same message. Still think I'm going to sit this one out. Rick, let me know what time you want to meet up that afternoon.

Jan's was kind of like "let's go and find a bunch of crowded residential streets to take a large pack of Ducati sport bikes on".  For me, I want a ride with that many bikes (and riders of different skill levels) to be planned out a bit better.

it would be nice to know before hand where we are going and what time we are stopping at what ever places, but i am looking forward to riding with the more accomplished riders so that i can learn better technique  build up my skill level.
cause always riding with noobs leads to bad habbits  Embarrassed

Jose' generally has a route planned out but you just have to ask him.  Somehow I think there is a type of logic, if you will, that dictates riding through residential areas and Waikiki if there are inexperienced riders with non-superbikes in the bunch.  Did you notice that on one of the rides where it was mostly superbikes that we didn't do any crowded street riding?  Big pack riding is not really going to help out with any skills as the group gets rather spread out. Without going to a track day or one of the schools it's hard to hone skills in a large group. I think one would be better off riding with two or three others who are willing to vary their pace, stop & talk, and ride over the same sections of road to practice. Plus it's tough out here because the traffic and road conditions can vary from minute to minute.

Saturday almost always has more road congestion and besides I have my morning shop thing to do as a rule. This Sat I have to install new fuel lines on Gloria's SL and put my bike back together.

Let me know when you are going to be down there.  I'll give you a hand with both chores if we can also do a bit of adjustments to the rear sus on the SD.
