should we start a pool on whether or not the 1198s will be totalled or not?

(No offense Laughn ---- hey, we could have used you up at the H3 lookout when we were being threatened
)
that was awesome, now that i think about it i should have video her or at least took a pic of her license plate. id hate to find out that she really ran a biker off the road.

One thing to keep in mind, an 1198S has a much higher cover charge than a Daytona, and that could very well have bearing on wether or not they will total the bike. Now having said that, I do know that the steering stop up under the nose fairing was trashed...

i went down today to check on my 848 and have the 696 looked at since my turn signals, horn, and brake lights decided to stop working so i asked about the 1198s and they said probly totalled but Will hasnt done the actual inspection yet so Sean was not 100% sure what was going to happen yet.

i was going to take more pics but felt i would have been in bad taste. i really wanted some of the bike when it was pinned between the road sign and the wood fence but figured it was better if i just help get it up and out before someone called the cops.
i heard this bad boy needs over 19k in just parts, not counting labor. so it was totalled out. at least thats what i heard.

Jose' has posted this month's ride for next Saturday, the 12th. Meet up at 10:30 and ride out at 11:00. Let's hope for no drama.

i'm scheduled to be at the range that day. but if anything does happen, don't hesitate to give me a call. my # is 808-366-1910. if i don't answer give brian, 701-240-9658, a call and he can probably do a pick up. most likely he'll be home in the garage all day. he'll just need directions or a street name to google.
otherwise have fun and stay safe.

There I was, last Sunday, actually yesterday, working on the 620's at the shop, with some help from Gene. (thank you Gene). I pulled out the end caps for my Termi's (so I could take them up to Anne's & Brian's place for some ceramic coating) and offered to use the slidehammer to remove the baffles on Gene's bike. I even told him that we could put them back in right away if he wanted to. No dice.
What a wus!
---- No. I keed, I keed. Little bit. It's all good. They make just enough noise for him.
On the other hand those unrestricted Termi's are way loud in the tunnels. Hee Hee.

Maybe after my TuneBoy purchase I'll do a tune with and without...actually I'm leaning towards modding the baffles like you did, little by little...

I betcha that the separate tunes will be very close to each other with, or without, the baffles.
BTW, I have a Db meter if you want to test some objective numbers. It's very surprising.
