well i sold my 01 Wide Glide today...I am thinking about getting 1997 M750, 18K miles
new exhaust runs good as far as I can tell.  The only thing about it I don't like is that it has clip-on bars...I want the more original upright riding position. Undecided

The seller is asking $2800...should I pull the trigger? Shocked

Also If I get it, any advice about where to find handlebar risers and clamps?

Thanks for all your advice!!

If it is in good shape 2800 sounds like a fair deal ...

Also here is the handlebar setup I'd like ...

Thanks Dave

I forgot to ad that the bike has a complete REMUS exhaust system which sits much closer to the seat which I like.

I am just a little nervous about maint. etc

Welcome Frederick, good luck with your purchase.  You'll find more advice in our Accessories & Mods and Tech forums.

There's lots of helpful people here if you want to do your own maintenance waytogo  Having it done at the dealer can be an expensive proposition depending on where you live.
