Just another quick update.
Julie said to say Hi and thanks for all the love and best wishes. She said it will be hugs and kisses all-round when she gets back. Not sure she will be running and jumping into the arms of the unsuspecting (which some of you know is her usual greeting) but I am sure you will all know when she is back.
Anyway Julie is doing well - they gave her a vaccination today for general immunity and she had the male nurse laughing as she kept saying 'no not in my bum'. They recommend that without the spleen she should get a booster every 5 years and a flu shot every year but other than that she should be fine.
With all the drips that she has been given she is starting to fill up with fluid a bit I reckon ... but she does get up and walk the halls now so hopefully that will help. She is also carrying a bit of air ... she is learning to fart again and has been passing the time with rating her achievements on a 1-10 scale
