Those wheels look like standard 5-spoke Marchesinis, though the rear axle looks small.

Not sure of the axle sizes on 696, but....

5-spokers came OEM on S4, ST4, ST4S.



no those are my 696 specific wheels i got from commonwealth

what he is saying is that the wheels pictured, the wheels you bought, have been used on other bikes (S4, ST4, ST4S).  the front also looks identical to the front on my s2r1k.

There may well be a difference in width or the like, not sure.
But they definitely look the same as those pics.

front & rear axle is 25mm.  Same as the 695. 

I've actually compared the two bikes parts diagrams.   There's a spacer inserted on the carrier side, part 27 on the 696.  That's the only major difference I see.  Be interesting to get a 695 & a 696 side by side & measure everything up.  You might just be able to use any aftermarket 5-spoke from a 695.
