Count me in if i can get my suspension sorted.

I hardened the suspension back up and it still feels like complete shit to ride.

Although i may have found the culprit as when i got to work, i screwed in the damping and preload in and wound it back out. The right hand side preload setting was a full turn out than the left. No wonder it's been fighting me like mad when i want to turn  Roll Eyes

I'll take it out during lunch and see if it rides like a bike should. If not, i'll chuck it off a cliff.

Awesome Andy. Nato is interesting at the best of times let alone if half of it is currently a dirt track.

Route we took last time looked something like this IIRC. (I always get confused with the Mount Keira Rd bit)

I'm going to be at Mecca in the City at 7 for a few quick caffeine hits if anyone Northside wants to meet up their before heading over to Loftus oval coffee

What about this version of Craig's link

Basically Craig's version with more added

Early Morning Section
- RNP
- Mt Keira
- MQ Pass
- Camberwarra Mountain through KV, down to Nowra
- The Kiama international speedway
- back up Jamberoo Mountain Road to the Robertson Pie shop

At which time:
- We meet up with people who wanted to sleep in OR
- Say goodbye to others who need to go OR
- we keep going with the moto action

To do the arvo run:
- the back of the southern highlands
- ending up in phesants nest where people can do their own thing to get home.

If we time it right (and depending on the numbers and the "tooling around factor") we could be back in Robertson early arvo (1ish at a guess), meaning that big and z can join us after having the necessary late breakfast followed by a blast up the pass for a shite coffee...  waytogo

what say you all? (and no I don't have a validated leave pass yet, but I promise to try!)

If you get the necessary permission for a day of R&R (Ride & Recreation) the whole thing sounds great.

Ok , I went through the park today , there is only one section of dirt that is about 800 metres long immediately followed by about 500 metres of loose gravel. This is around 4.5 kms after the Audley weir.

There is also a road sign up at the entrance of the park saying Sir Bertram Drive closed 13/5 till 13/6 Budeeena rd to Warumbul Rd , between 9am and 3pm but I got through there today after waiting for a road traffic guy to let us go through (one way traffic at a time)

Considering the roadworks are scheduled to be finished on saturday (13/6) it may well be all tar by then. However if its not , it's only a short section of dirt and it's not that bad.

If we went in to the park at Waterfall we bypass the roadworks.

Either way i'll be at the Kirrawee Shell Servo filling up around 8ish and at the Loftus oval ready to go at 8.30

Top of Macquarie pass is going to be refreshing!
