if it is just new pads, i heard breaking them in correctly is what keeps it from happening.. mine squeel, but i dont use them much anyways unless i have a pillion and need the stopping power.

the M1 bars are sick! is there more "space" on the bike, im looking for something a bit more forward.

that Ohlins is on my list too. $$$$$, i mean, hmmmmm

My squeal is coming back slowly. I might just change out the pads myself and re-bed them. It's getting old and I don't have time to take it back to the dealer.

About the M3.. Length wise it's almost the same as the stock bar. It's just a tad bit forward. I wouldn't call it a night and day difference if that's what you're looking for.
It's good to be the trend setter.  [moto] I was pretty much the first to slap one on a 696.

forward is good, i think thats what im looking for, not so much down.

search on here for proper break in of pads, there is a system, takes 15 or 30 minutes. they wont end up squeeling.

It's official. Rear brake squeal is back.  bang head

Anyway I'm taking my bike to a local shop tomorrow to get my rear Ohlins shock set up. Hopefully handling will improve 10-fold.   [moto] waytogo

Nothing new to date other than the black reflective tape I threw on. Everything else has been gear wise (new jacket, helmet).

Every once in a while I think about getting a new exhaust setup for the bike. I'm running Leo Vince right now. Just going for a different look..

Hey, are you using the CRG bar end adapters?  I just got an M3 bar and realized that my Rhinomoto bar ends don't fit so I need to replace them.

Yep. I'm running the CRG adapters on the M3.
