Anyone hear why? sick like swine flu/riding in rain all season sick, or like heat exhaustion it was 104F sick?

Sounded like he was sick since he mentioned coming down with something a day or two before...although he may have had a touch of heat stroke as a side effect. He looked terrible in the interview.

he also looked terrible when he pulled into parc ferme... and when the doc was treating him when he finally got off the bike.

Stoney..wow!!   Undecided  He looked bad!  Funny how he said he gave up but still managed to hold off (who was that) Melandri for 3rd.  120* on the ground before the race..I'm sure a lot of heat exhaustion..esp. with those leathers!!

that's exactly what i saw.

while in parc ferme he made it over to the fence and put his head down on it while his wife rubbed his back... for a LoNG time...
