More of the same, but this time on our local board.   

Can someone to raise with Nate the issues of his modding style and how he treats DMF members (including our own super-douchey johnc who literally asked to be suspended and got what he asked for)?  I know Nate'll just say that he doesn't give a shit and that everyone just has to sit back and take it when "he's not in the mood" as he's our "babysitter."  But it's a problem.  This time he jumped at the opportunity to pick a fight, personalized the confrontation, ratcheted things up again just when they were calming down, and then insulted a member as he was being suspended.  And this isn't NMC or even anywhere else on the board, where that kind of confrontational and insulting conduct might be ok (it's not) or at least overlooked.  It's our local forum.  We do just fine handling our own stuff and have enough local mods (DM & MM) and de facto locals (Speeddog, big, Duck Stew) to deal with issues that arise.

Maybe Nate'll listen to one of you.  I won't even try, as the last big time I got into it with him he decided that he was going to remain offended in perpetuity.  Being thin-skinned and personalizing everything while purporting to not give a shit makes it hard for one to listen to and then internalize constructive criticism.  At some point, someone will get through to him, I hope.  But in the meanwhile, how 'bout y'all leave us alone to deal with our own issues on the local board (which we really don't have)?  We'll make sure the Board Guidelines are enforced here as everywhere else.  We're doing just fine without the help. 

Now if we can get back to rippin' on Tigre and watching 'belle lose him mind, that'd be great.   [moto]
