race started wet, byrne and xaus both lead at one point. hacking was in third for a bit.

spies closes the championship points gap to haga to 39 points.

i don't think these results reflect a ride through penalty for xaus that i'm sure will be assessed w/ a time penalty, though i think that's why 88 was excluded. maybe he served it while i wasn't watching.

Derby - where/ what channel are you watching on?  Races just wrapped up for me (east coast) on Speed...

Kind of surprised Haga gave up and settled for 3rd... or at least he seemed to

You are way more dedicated than I am..

Yeah definitely a safer way to pull a podium.  Just a little disappointed since he's been running so strongly this season

if ben had been in front of him, you likely would've seen him push harder. it was "just" michel and rea.

Ugh . .

punted off track in turn 1; punted off track again
lowside
clipped the dirt while leading -- highside
ran out of gas in the last corner
shifter go boom
clutch doesn't work

v.

Hit a bird, crashed
Back hurt from practice highside -- lower than usual finish

<snip>

edit: besides, how many actual reliability problems has ben's bike had?  if you don't count running out of fuel, i can only think of one: a broken shifter.  am i forgetting something?

Damn, look at how much more off the bike Spies is than everyone else

Compare:

Haga's channeling Rossi

Faaaack.  Now THAT's close racing.

Look!  Twins.  (pun intended)

lol, ok we had a good weekend, all that really matters is that lil' ol' Ducati is still dominating world bike racing right?
