That's a bad ass link, thanks for posting it. You sold me, I'm going to do that to my wifes 620. I agree with you about not wanting to weld the tips to your headers even though it leaves somewhat bulky clamps and like the idea of wraping the pipes in black. Also I have to agree with pompetta and say nice avatar. ![waytogo](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/waytogo.gif)

Thanks. I should probably update the thread since I have a whole summer and about 6 thousand miles on them now. They are pretty loud, but nothing like a Harley and have a good sound IMO. Bike ran great all summer, very smooth. The huge clamps did drag in a few corners along with the kickstand, but the wife was also on the back at the time so they might be ok if you're riding solo. I'm still looking for some smaller clamps, but these work and don't look too bad IMO. Was also stopped by a state trooper (for other reasons) who noticed the fact that I was "missing" mufflers. After pointing out the resonaters to him he just laughed and said "barely" ![Evil](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/evil.gif) no ticket tho

I wish I could....unfortunately I live at the 6th floor of a block building and the elevator is not big enough!
Otherwise I think I would do that during the coldest&rainier part of the year.....

I had a nice spot picked out for my Sport 1000, and my wife was even fine with it, but then I heard about insurance issues if any vehicles are stored in the house. Apparently, they can deny a claim if there is a house fire and they discover that a motorcycle was inside. So, my bikes stay in the garage all winter. ![Sad](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/sad.gif)

We currently have 5 bikes in the house...no garage and we're in Alaska. I can't bear to have our bikes outside in the cold and the snow. I like being able to oogle my Duc all winter, and my dog likes curling up next to it ![Smiley](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/smiley.gif)

Here's mine in my dedicated indoor garage with RaceDeck tiles. Lucille is undergoing winter mods. ![](http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5248/5260212605_d789c2a0a5_b.jpg)

I have to admit I'm very surprised so many keep their bikes in the house.
I keep my S4R in the living-room, but I never thought others would too.
I like the art aspect, and it's my way of enjoying the bike during the off-season. I do, however, store it in the shop or garage during the riding season.
Ducati to you all!

My fiancee would kill me if I parked my Duc in the house. It would be a good excuse to tell her that we now have room in the garage for her car during the winter. It just might work hehe.
