Hello all,

My new employer is out of portland, so I will be coming to OR the week of july 20. I was thinking in of coming in a day early to ride. Is there anyone who would like to meet up for a ride?

Is there any good place to rent a bike? I have an 848, so I would prefer something comparable...

Lookin forward to hopefully meeting up with come NW DMF folks.

thanks,

Aria

Only place I know of other than Harley's is the BMW dealer in Tigard.

Shalom, man.  Hope you have a good visit.

Try these guys.  Among the requisite land cruisers, they have a GT1000 in the stable (and a Bonneville).

GT1000 is probably as close as you'll get to an 848.  I don't know anyplace that rents sportbikes?  That's gotta be a risky business.

Hmmm - Lake Oswego, not all that great riding.  You're hemmed in by traffic and slow speed limit roads and  Police's.

If you end up picking up that rental from OMC from their location on Beavercreek Road, just head for the hills from there (go towards that big pointy thing on the eastern horizon covered in Kool-Whip. Grin)

Or, your best bet is to meet up with with one of us.  I would ride with you, but unfortunately I'm occupied that weekend.

Just bump-up your post to remind us as the weekend approaches.  For sure someone will be riding that weekend.  waytogo
