It's the perfect storm this year -->  Spies reminds the rest of the world that there are *real* racers in AMA. And DMG reminds AMA riders that there are other paddocks where they can ply their trade.

Here's Mladin's take on it:  amazing how 1 guy from AMA goes 2 WSB and wins, now team managers ovr there are saying they had no idea of the pace in AMA. They do now ;-)  I love that guy.   laughingdp

Is he really that good? I don't watch AMA too much anymore. I saw race 2 at Elkhart where Yates was right there with him on a lesser bike. I will withhold comment on the pass/attack.

Well in all fairness, other than Mladin or on the odd day Hacking, Hodgeson, Hayden and maybe a couple of others there isn't.

I would remind everyone getting ready to tear me up Evil, that the top 20 qualifiers for WSBK this weekend were within 1 (one) second of each other. When was the last time AMA was that tight? popcorn

blake is young (sic) and very fast.  mladin has been saying since the beginning of the season that he needs to get out of here and into a world series, like, yesterday.
