My good friend Edvard sent me this info this morning...

Here's a ride with North DFW Sportbike Riders this saturday:

This will be a tour of the Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork Resevoir (East of Dallas) Looks like about 180 miles of backroads and twisties. Going for an early start this week to avoid the heat if possible. We will have a few stops for rest and hydration along the way.

Meetup Place
Exxon Gas Station in Royse City off Interstate 30
SW corner of I30 and Elm St (Exit 77a)

Time: 8:00 am KSU 8:15!!!

P.S.: Those guys are fun to ride with

Has anyone done this ride before? Looks like fun. I wanna ride this weekend!

I've done this ride, I think it was in the Ride Texas magazine too.  Aint no way you're gonna be back before it gets to 100.  Skip work Monday, a cool-front which will bring it down to 93  waytogo

Arrrrgh!! No can do bang head I'm having the complete HVAC at the house replaced on Sunday (thanks to Cody @ Boone's Heating & A/C in Carrollton). $6800 down the tubes: So much for $4R$ accesssorizing this summer! Cry

The cool front Monday makes me think: "at least ride to work, you fool"....

16 Tons
Whaddya get?
Another day older and deeper in debt...
Saint Peter, don't you call me
'cause I cain't go
I owe my soul
To the company sto'

It's a 4 ton unit, here's the spec:

Install an American Standard 4 ton 15 SEER condensing unit.
4A7A5048BIOOO condenser wlslab and electrical whip
Total: $3600.00
Install an American Standard furnace and evaporator coil.
AUDI00R9V5 variable speed furnace
2TXCC060BC3 evaporator coil
Includes filter base, vent pipe and gas line.
Total: $3600.00 (includes sales tax)

Looks like I added wrong, that's $7200, not $6800. Damn tequila, anyway!!! Someone is going to have to buy me a beer at Rembrandt's Sunday, so I can think straight again....

Well, the reason it's probably so high ($7200!!) is because you're going with a gas set up. Mine is brand new too 5 ton. $1750 installed. Now I don't have a new air box yet but that's coming. I can put you in touch with a friend of mine who lives just around the corner and have him price you out a system. He's one of the most honest and nice guys you'll ever meet too. Ex-Ranger! Straight up dude. Ty Head is his name. He owns Duncan Air. I have his number here but not in front of me at the moment. Shop around.

As far as the beer...I'm good for it if I can get over there. But I don't know what the fam has in store for me this weekend.

Thank you very much for noticing man!  waytogo You will not beleive the stuff I've uncovered on Flickr recently. That is one strange place let me tell you. I am in the process of compiling a "Found on Flickr" thread that will promise hilarity among us gnomes. In fact here's a taste...

[img]<a href=><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2422/3660435501_61389b5773_o.jpg" width="600" height="900" alt="3271848966_b6c9b287e5_o" /></a>img]

And, the hair was RED, so, WTF y'know?
