I'm from long island and i go to gold coast motorsports regularly, i get service there.......i'm curious what the issue is?  Arc bought his bike there too.

lol! sorry,  i mean that I haven't seen any fellow ducatistas ANYWHERE on LI roads except for the dealership (like not seeing cops anywhere but the donut shop Police).  that's why it doesn't count [moto]  I'm happy with gold coast as well!

Pakhan, sorry I didn't get your PM.

I'm in central Nassau, so whenever anyone is up for a ride, let me know!

holy crap I turn away from this thread for like a day and next thing I know there a #$%load of responses! I'm still laughing my ass off on that youtube video. it's like when I threw a tantrum a couple of weeks ago when I installed my clip-ons and found out I needed spacers for my coffin reservoirs

I guess I'm late to this dance. I live in Huntington Station and I'm less than a mile from Lighthouse Harley-Davidson, so I see lots those big boys around here. I do see occasional Ducs, but, after the Harleys, Japanese bikes  (mostly operated by squids from I the riding styles I observe) are most numerous.

I'm self-employed and often work at home. When I do have to go to a client, I'm on my '01 Monster whenever possible. Whatever work I don't do myself is done at Supermoto Italia in St. James. I run into Duc riders there.

Count me in.  Just got an 01 M750.  I'm in Ronkonkoma and usually do most of my riding on 25A or out east.  Less cars.  I never see Duc's out on the road by me.  HD and Jap bikes mostly.  I just met Joe at Supermoto Italia in St James.  He gave me a very warm welcome to the Monster family and actually provided a quick parking lot go over with a quick fix on my clutch lever.  With service and courtesy like that, I know who I'm bringing my bike to.

Sup fellow Ducatistas? im not from Long Island but do alot of riding out there. I dont really go too far out..I usually just take a ride down Ocean Parkway usually on a nice day just to enjoy the weather and the cool breeze by the water.  I'll probably be out there later on today (9/4) late morning to early afternoon if anyone wants to roll.

Joe is great- good mechanic and always helpful. His shop is sort of a clubhouse, especially on Saturdays. It's the kind of  place where all the regulars turn into salesmen when someone walks in looking at the bikes and Joe is in the back wrenching.

I ride the North Shore mostly. I live in Huntington and I have an old sailboat in Glen Cove, so I ride the back roads in-between. I haven't gotten out east much, but from my rides out to North Fork by car, I'm sure there are some nice roads out there. And much less traffic.

Weren't you around here or TOB a few years back? Red monster, with a custom tail, you bought a 1098 Tricolor soon after?

We rode once or twice out east in LI
