Ben's bringing in one of his former Yosh mechanics for Donnington and the rest of the season to get Yamaha's shit sorted out:

http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2009/Jun/e/n090625a.htm

Wood previously worked with Miguel DuHamel at Honda, Steve Rapp at at Vance and Hines Ducati, and Tom Kipp at Chapparal before joining up with Yoshimura Suzuki and Spies six years ago. It's been noted by the media that during Ben's AMA Superbike career, he never suffered a mechanical DNF.

Didn't know Blake Young was running in this one. Will be interesting to see how he does.

Things are gonna get a little tight in pants if Haga doesn't up the pace a bit.  Fab and Spies are circling the waters.

Haga will be fine.  He's made a habit of being pretty quiet in practice and in superpole this season.  It doesn't stop him from rocketing to the front from the start and then either leading or being with the leaders by the second or third lap.

Camier.   applause   There was some chatter about them getting team order from Yamaha about not beating Ben.  I wonder if anyone has talked to them.

I thought Hacking would be running a bit better.  Doesn't he know this course?

The Ducs are running really well again.  Yow--look at that.

I *really* don't want a flag-to-flag wet race.

Isn't there someone they can talk to about that?!?

Edit:  Actually, there's a part of me that wants a wet race.

I might have to wager on Fabrizio finishing in the top spot this year.  He seems to have momentum at this point in the season.
