Good deal.

Save the cosmoline.  You can probably use it to make a torch to burn zombies.

Curious, where did you get it? You're right. That's one long ass rifle! Oh well, that cosmoline is what kept it rust free and in good shape. [thumbsup] Maybe I should wipe some on me now and then. [laugh]

Got it at a gunshow this weekend. Lots of fun stuff there. Almost picked up a NOS Romanian AK-47... Great shape, for $400

the later arsenal refurbish guns are very good shape.  not collectible, but very usable.

very fun to go shooting at dusk so you can see the 3-5ft long flame coming out the end.  most 7.62x54 ammo is actually MG ammo and is very very hot.  no problem in the mosin receiver, but that powder burns bright.

also, 7.62x54 is the cheapest to shoot except for 22lr.  buy milsurp cans of it, they aren't making any more.
