Last year but it should hit shelves soon.

I was wondering when someone would notice. Good ear. What you are hearing is the phenomenon called "First round pop" or FRP. This happens because the first shot through the suppressor is free burning or igniting the extra o2 inside the silencer. The subsequent shots are quieter as the o2 has been depleted. One way around this is to shoot the can(silencer) wet, by just adding 1-5cc of water you will stop this from happening. What happens is the heat turns the water into steam(water expands 1700 times its size) and the steam not only displaces the o2 but causes the heat to expend its energy through this process. When shooting a can wet you will get significantly quieter shots. Like 8-10db quieter for a mag or two. So the slower and cooler you make the gasses before they exit the silencer, the quieter they will be when they hit the atmosphere[thumbsup]
