Have you ever considered changing the location of this events?  Or moving them around once a while?  I would attend if said event where had in say....Pasadena/Burbank.

I believe there's an Italian bike night of some kind at the Hooters in Pasadena. On TOB I heard about it from a guy from... Moomba?

...yes, every so often (like a million times :) ) this topic comes up but we never found a place that would suit everyones needs...+ ricks is quite difficult to beat due to its outdoors bar+relatively easy parking+no hastle by cops+EYE CANDY  [beer]

unfortunately LA is quite big and riding 20+ miles to come out to visit us is common...in the past folks have tried to set up an IBN on the east side but they never got to meet up (yet)

so, no, the location will not change :) its a 4 year (almost) established meetup. Folks just know its there and sometimes dont even check the board...(nor are members) it would be too much trouble  :)

...there are a few Pasadeena residents who attend on and off...try setting up a ride down together

its not that far, and its worth it  ;D (they say)

The prospect of lane splitting for 30+ miles on a weeknight is not very high up on my todo list.

No worries, just thought I would post up the question.  [thumbsup]

you should talk to bobspapa... it's for him.

fwiw, depending on when you left, you wouldn't really have that much splitting to do.

Yeah, nobody shows up until after 7 anyway.  [roll] And then they hang around Rick's until at least 9 or so.

I don't blame you. No way I'd ride to whereverthemake the beast with two backs to watch a bunch of douchebags eat delicious french dips while gorgeous scantaly clad ladies  roam the strip to smell of the amazing salty air.

That said, 10 miles would be my cut off.

I ride down from Simi Valley... 118 to the 405...  etc...

Just not tonight, because I have to___________.   ;D

Have fun kids!   [beer]

I only see jesus having a sauna with a teletubbie.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

+1, and Luca, you're just being Luca.  You could host an event/ bike night over here easily, and we'll see who lane splits that shit from the West.

Eastsiders, Unite!

(uh, seriously though, isn't that whole "E" thing backwards?  Pitchforks Homie!)  [laugh]
There's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Hell ya, eastside fo life!

Of course, I didn't even go very often when I lived on the westside and IBN is about the only good thing on the westside.
