By god, somebody has to post something substantive!  And I'm going to do it!

- Ryan is in the state with the highest density of toxic land fills (according to the movie Fletch II), but is coming back soon.

- Chuck is pretending to be Captain Steubing on his new Love Boat "Lili".  He just toots his horn all day long.

- JBubble is maimed and injured, but on the road to recovery (actually, though, I think she's just pregnant.  This horse thing is all a big ruse.  "Fell" off a horse.  Yeah, right.  Grin.)

- Mo and Cierra have returned from their journey to Palestine.  Or was it Utah?  Idaho?  One of those hot, dry fanatic places.

Three day weekend is upon us.

Here is my proposal:

meet at Edgefield for lunch and beers on Friday.

Get there early, like 11:30 to beat the crowd and get a seat.  Or, I will at least, and I will use a threatening bratwurst to defend the table for later arrivals.

A good start for the rest of the weekend from there.

This is all I could think of.  Anybody have any other ideas?  I mean, it's not mutually exclusive you goobers, we can actually do multiple events, you know.  This can just be one of many floating DMF gatherings.

Come on, peeps.  Work with me here.  Whaddya got?  Grin

I'd love to go, but our friend Amy's b-day is the 3rd, and she always has a tiki party on her b-day, 'cause everyone has the day off the next day.  So I'll be at her b-day party in the evening. I might be able to make a lunch meet up on friday, depending if the strippers are done.  Paint strippers, you pervs.

Hey, so where's Billy?

He and I keep talkin' about enjoying a Scotch and a cigar out on one of the patios at Edgefield.  I'm off on Friday, so that'd work.

I know I'm gonna be floating the the Willamette river on a friends boat for the fire works.....I won't mind meeting some people from here in person.

I also support any events that involve boobies  Grin

I'd love to go and need a long ride badly but my in-laws are coming up to help with the home improvement weekend from hell.

Julie really wants to do a long ride. I guess that back seat is calling to her.  Grin
