I'm not sure who I'm blaming for this, but with a wedding on Friday and Family in town I'm only going for Race Day. I have a small group of 3 bikes riding down from San Bruno Sunday Morning. I'm looking for companions, and general hints on good times to do this, and places to make sure I'm going the speed limit :-)
Oh and 101 vs. 1???

Cheers!

I'll be leaving San Jose at...crap, haven't decided yet, but will be taking this route: http://tinyurl.com/kussme. If you want to park on the island, I'd plan on being there no later than 8:30 - 9 on Sunday. I need to stop by the Seaside Embassy Suites to pick up my ticket. I've taken the Coyote Creek golf course exit before off of 101 as a meeting point - there is plenty of space off the exit and nothing else around there (i.e. no gas stations).

Slow down on 101 after the Gilroy outlets till you merge onto 156, and go especially slow on Hwy 1.  The CHP will be like snipers that weekend - it's huntin' time for them.

Well since we are only taking one Ducati, we're not going to try and park on the Island. Mostly just want to avoid the worst of the Traffic at least coming in.  I kinda wanted to see the morning warm up but that might be a bit early.

Most likely we will hit the road at 8am putting us in San Jose a bit before 9am.

If you want to join us pick a spot along 280 (and 1 or 101) and we'll meet up.
Cheers!

I have ridden down Sunday morning the past 3 years with a large group.

This time there is only 2 of us so I will be heading from Berkeley, down 880 to 101 to CA183 Salinas.

That route. Will probably stop for gas at least once..lol
