Someone posted a link on where to purchase Brembo clamp adapters for the reservoirs when replacing the 696 stock mirrors.  I am now having no luck finding that post.  Anyone remember or can point me in the right direction?

Sorry. I cant answer your question.   Hey...  found it  Smiley >>  http://shop.bevelheaven.com/detail.aspx?ID=284  Dont thank me, thank 1313.
But let me ask you this:  Why bother?  When you can just flip the original reservoir clamps upside down for much the same result.

I seem to remember a cable getting in the way. And it didn't match up.

(there must be a reason the one without the mirror mount says UP on it so big, right?)

You can see how the top is tapered and at an angle:

I suppose it's so you can use more than one size bar (check out the gap at the bottom when installed)

Look guys, if you want the bestest neatest result, go buy these Brembo-type no-mirror-hole-adaptors.  I think I'm pretty fussy and I'm quite happy with the original items fitted upside down. There is a very slight off-set difference top-to-bottom but regardless of this I find it fits, works and looks just fine.

As always, the choice is yours  Smiley.
