1993 M900 for $2500.

http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=301024

Sorry for the spam, but I saw it posted and figured that someone might be lookin' for a cheap older 900.  I know Scott used to be (still is?) on the lookout.

Hell, I think Enzo and 'belle should buy it as a parts bike.  They'll pay that much in parts just to keep their 15 y/o machines running.   Grin

That's my thoughts. She could probably whore enzo out for that much over a given weekend.

If we had the $$ we probably would pick it up.   laughingdp

I asked a couple of questions about it, mostly out of curiosity.  If the motor is decent and he's selling it because it's just uncomfortable for two-ups or it's ugly...that's a decent deal.

Mr.I, I'm flattered!

Aren't the '93 engines different than the '94s?  I seem to remember something about that from watching the valve adjustment DVD.

Well, I don't think she could get $500 for you five times, but I do think she could get 10$ 250 times.  Kiss

Seems a little odd the guy doesn't know the mileage on the bike.  But ~20K is pretty damn low for a '93.

Yeah, it might be better to consider a slightly higher mileage, well cared for but newly abandoned fuel injected Monster with all the right Cycle Cat bits. coffee

I'm trying to get a little more info out of him without harshin' on his sale or breaking the BARF classifieds rules.

edit:  If you check up on the ad it sounds like he just didn't get around to riding it.  It's spent a lot of time sitting.  Bound to be a few hiccups once it gets ridden regularly again.  But dang...it does seem like an OK deal.  And I know of this guy on BARF.  He's decent people.

No longer looking for a Monster.  I realized a couple of years ago that I'm happier riding my ST2.

Plus I already spent my spare $2500 on the XR650L and my garage is full.
