I've "Chopped up" a few CB's. One more couldn't hurt.

I would definitely consider getting one of those. I've always been a fan of that style of bike. It would look good with upgraded suspension, brakes and rims too. It would give the bike a slightly more modern feel.

No it has not been in production in Japan. This is a new to the world bike. There has been a bike called CB1100F, but this is not the same motorcycle.

I'm stoked that they're bringing out the CB1100F. That improves the odds that they're going to offer the CB1100R.

Anyone notice the CB1000R on the cover of Cycleworld last issue? They said it was only sold in Europe that was so much different than this 1100 being discussed. Water cooler digital insturment package s 4 into 1 pipe that was angled flat along the outside. Looked like a naked 1000RR not a bad idea. The naked bikes are slowly catching on here.

Both the F and R are really cool. The photoshopped versions look great as well. [moto]

The stock pipe won't look that nice once they jam in the cat and the baffles, but of course that is an easy fix

The more I look at this production bound version of the CB1100F the less I like it. They have changed a lot of details since showing the concept version. The frame is completely different. Notice how the concept model's down tube has a nice angle away from the front wheel. This also allows the engine to angled to the front more. It gives the bike a sporty appearance. Also notice how the exhaust tubes cover up the bottom frame tubes. I like this better than the latest rendition in which the exhaust hangs down underneath the lower frame tubes and makes the bike look bulkier. The latests rendition has a more upright down tube and engine. It makes the bike look less sporty and more bulky. The details are important. This is something the a lot of companies never seem to get. One bike is sexy the other looks a little bit dull and chunky.
