Is that #61 sold in June?  I heard they were shooting for 51 to break their own record from 2 years ago.  Wow, looks like they did way better than that.

You're worse than a woman, I swear. I don't see a gut anywhere and as for the combover, well, that would have looked WORSE  vomit

ha ha ha ha.... my hair is about a quarter to a half inch long... the combover comment was a joke... ha ha ha... I always tick Julie off by saying, "Oh crap I forgot to do my hair." and then running my hand across my head, and saying, "done."  Although, I think I may need to implement the "summer hairstyle" and just shave it all off.

and don't kid yourself... guys talk fashion, style, and hair much more than women do... we just do it differently....

"Damn that bikini is so skimpy if she wasn't shaved bald, it would totally show. She should have gone with a thong."

So, I met Michael Lock last night, CEO of Ducati NA. His first words to me, "What happened in that picture? You looked horrible. You look nothing like that photo."   (I took it as a compiment... that I don't actually look horrible in person... just on the picture.)

Anyhow, the Progetto 51 campaign included a dinner and a drawing for everyone who purchased new in June. The top prize, an all expense paid trip to Italy for a tour of the Ducati factory. They gave out 58 prizes, and there were three of us left without a prize... the prizes left... a tail section to the D16 signed by some famous peeps, the trip to Italy, and a pen. Guess which one I won??? Yup... the pen. I guess it was really a cool and special pen, so somebody traded me their prize, a special edition streetfighter backpack, for the pen... but still... to beat the odds from 61 people down to 3... and win a pen... well, it was a downer...

On the bright side... "A Cena" is the best Italian food in town, Arun opened the casks for some insanely nice wine... we drank hearty... and we all left hammered and happy... these guys really know how to throw a party.  waytogo

On a side note... Michael Lock is a really cool guy with some great stories.

I was all excited about offering to buy the pen off you . . .

Bummer that you didn't win the trip so you could take me with you  Tongue
