Can ya find it?

If you guess baby blue radiator bushings you're absolutely correct!!
After having my radiator repaired I painted it and it looks much better of course. One of the bushings was damaged so I ordered up a replacement for all of em. Guess what? Ducati, in their infinite wisdumb, decided to supercede the black part number with...that's right baby blue! WTF is that?
Yet on the showroom floor all the 1098's and 1198's are black bushings.

Sounds like a part number supercession gone bad.  I used to work in the parts biz a while ago...seen it happen.

yep I'm going to try a sharpie, it'll probably take. Just ridiculous! Maybe if it matched the blue of the S4R but this is way out there   Roll Eyes

SO you all should go out and buy up your dealers stock if you think you might ever need replacements...they  might still have black Smiley

lol mind bottling!

Been so long since I had my stock exhaust on I dunno if they were blue or not. Spose I might dig it out of the box, but why would it be...hmmm. I don't think any of the mounting points on my Remus GP lined up properly so I can't go compare  Undecided

And since I've had a few beers after work, I'm just gonna throw it out there in case you thought I really meant 'mind bottling'...it's from Zoolander  drink

Someone caught it... though it was totally unintentional when I wrote it out originally.

Yes, Ducati did change the radiator bushings to the same number as the exhaust mount bushings.
