Maybe I missed it somewhere -- but did anyone take pictures from Ducati Island at MotoGP this year at Laguna Seca?  You know -- the pictures of the rows of candy colored Ducati's all in a lineup, Sportbikes to drool over, cool modified Monsters, women scantily dressed, Ducati Island itself and the Ducati exhibits?  Anyone?!?!?!?!

Did anyone see the red 1098 to the left of the entrance to the Island that the owner (I suppose) was standing next to it, bouncing it off the rev limiter, over, and over and over?   Pretty impressive doing that to an unloaded engine.   Can anyone give me reason to do this?   How can I be sure that this wasn't done to any used bike I might buy in the future?  Is there any good reason to do this, clearing fouled spark plugs or something like that?

Other than that dumb a_s doing that, the whole weekend was pretty awesome.

I just upleaded 304 pictures to my shutterfly account of the carnage that occured last weekend at Laguna Seca. Follow the link and you can go through them. I have shots of the island, Nickey and Casey, umbrella girls and the ducati runway show. Sorry for not thinning the photos down, but I figued you can pick wich ever photos interest you by clicking on the thumbnails.

That's a strange looking " R ."

Grey frame , front fender, it has passenger pegs.

Just looks strange compared to when I look at mine.
