I'd be extremely surprised if they didn't want to keep the damaged ones. They have the right to since they bought them.

Update...
Hope you guys know I was joking about the sell of the old wheels. If ya look back several posts I made reference to the fact that I am aware they will get the damaged wheels.
Ok so talked to someon yesterday at the corporate office. They are having me send a pic of the damage to motowheels (where I purchased). They will decide if the wheels can have a new clear coat applied for repair. I would think no. You can feel the fibers when you run your finger around the wheel, but I could be wrong. Hope not but....

It's been about 3 weeks since this all started and they're talking about repairs via pics. I think they're jerking you around.

+1 You should have rims by now. Let them worry about repairing them and re-selling them.

Absolutely! You didn't buy a repaired wheel you bought brand new, big-dollar BSTs. Don't let the bastards f^*& you about!

Even if you go with Lionel Hutz, get a lawyer on them or file in small claims.

KICK ASS!!! I got a call from the lady at the corporate office few minutes ago. She told me to take the wheels to the local store. They are going to dismount the tires and ship the wheels back to motowheels. Motowheels is going to mount and balance a new set of tires on new BSTs and ship them back to me! I get a free set of tires out of the mishap. I cool with that

depending on the tires, it might have been worth the wait. But if you're happy, that's great news!
