Who did the actual installation of the wheels onto the bike? You? Your friend? A shop? I'm not asking about the tire installation on the wheel but rather the bolting on of the wheel/tire onto the bike.

I did the install...
The problem was from what my mechanic says was that the spacers where installed wrong. He said the right and left side were mixed up.

Which spacer did you put on what side? How did the chain-line look after you had the wheel on and locked down?

Yep. That's the kind of stuff you can't take for granted that everything is proper right out of the box. You have to check, check again and when everything is done you have to check one more time, at least. Plus, you have to know what you are checking for. Sounds kind of dumb in one way but the modification game can be gut wrenching enough to make you almost paranoid.

Looks nicked to me, my alu swinger has some pretty good wear marks and scratches on it to. that's a bit deeper of a gouge, but it might be nothing more than just that.

It's best not to think about it. And just ignore the new sounds your bike makes in the corners. Been following this thread from the get go (along with my guys at work -from over my shoulder). We all feel bad for you tonkashala. I hope you get this straight soon!

I didn't put any spacer on. They came with them install from BST. Everything was sound before I road the bike. I triple checked it.

It's not. It was that way when I bought it. Actually use to look worse I used a grinder to smooth it out. Not sure what the cause was, but it's not an issue.

If the rear set-up on your bike is anything like mine then you should have had a conical spacer that went on the left (I think) side. The bike is in the garage at the moment, so I can't easily check. Stupid question here, but I assume that you did not have any extraneous spacers laying around after the instal?

Sorry it took me a while to respond. Not to happy with the Duc presently Nope nothing left over.... I should hopefully be back on the road by the end of the week. Pending shipping and finding a decent deal on a rear caliper. I've ordered all of the other parts. BST would not cover the damage. It's looking like I will be able to get everything replaced (used of course) for around $200. Well I've found everything so far with the exception of the caliper. Spent $125 for all of it which I think is a pretty good deal. <sigh>
