OK, so a little OT, but I had my first on-track experience of being passed by a Desmoseidici. They were "breaking it in" so that's why Matt Green was riding in the B+ group.
Anyway, he passed me going into turn 14 at Thunderhill, and as we were exiting onto the straight he took off like I was riding my Vespa instead of the R6. Like he was shot out of a cannon. Absolutely, frickin incredible, and an honor to behold. Oh, and the sound of that thing as it went by me - it gave me wood.

I think I saw Sugarcrook again today. Red Monster headed North on 880 near Fruitvale around 9:30. I tend to see this red Monster when I'm running late for work.

That sounds about right. And I was headed south on 880 around 19:00.
Now I'll have to change my route.

Grizzly Peak to Strawberry Canyon, freaking awesome sounding 620 - if you hadn't told me i would have been totally confused for the rest of the day - with red rims and work on the fork/front. Those pipes.. now i know what my leetle dark could sound like, i have to know if there was a full exhaust replacement or slip-on's.
i swear, i was like an idiot puppy from the moment we hit the stop sign at right angles to each other. like in Metal Gear, when the little exclamation sound appears over people when they notice something - it was like that. i actually HEARD that sound, and then it was drowned out by the pipes. my brain went "S4?" because of the red, but it was.. small/weird/something different.
i wanted to play hookey SO BAD, and follow you where-the-hell-ever, but i turned off into work like a good little dog.
