Funny because just the other day I was wondering what Sete was doing in MotoGP. Should've stayed retired, or gone to WSBK where at least his not so awesomeness would be lost in a grid of 30 riders  Cheesy
Ok, I'm being harsh, but while I'm sad the motogp grid is one smaller, I've always thought Sete's effort was crazy.

Sete Gibernau's Ducati MotoGP team has become the latest high-profile victim of the global economic crisis.

The Spanish team, run by former 125 GP racer Pablo Nieto, has withdrawn from the MotoGP championship with immediate effect and won't be at the German GP on July 19.

Rumours had been circulating in the paddock that the team was struggling for sponsorship but the suddenness of the collapse came as a shock – not least for its rider.

old rich guy racer who's lost his nerve (and has to protect his new hair) + "career killer" bike + spanish construction zillionaire currently losing his shirt = not very surprising.

crap news for the grid tho.
