Mate, give me his full name and I can check the police internet system to see if he is even a cop.  I'll just jump on the email site and it pulls up all police names.....  I'm at work tomorrow(Friday)  Police

Be very very careful doing that stuff WL Huh?  Do you guys have the SELF test??

Maybe you can come in rides with us and drive a support vehicle with cold drinks and portable BBQ or something Super.

Cheeky pr*ck!  laughingdp

I do have a ute now.  Wink

But either way, the guy would need to be giving me a massive wad of cash to give up my monster. Sad

It's getting harder by the day! I'm giving it a wash either today or tomorrow and taking it for a spin. Hopefully be able to get a couple of more rides in before it does get sold. I need the dollars so it's gotta go.  Undecided

Probably too late, but PM sent.

As for the guy and the exhaust! Tell him you'll sell it to him without it then!

He was a pommy too.  Roll Eyes

Anyway, I'll see how it goes. I know I'll probably not buy new again but I wouldn't mind a 90's model 900 project bike.  Cool

Ha, funny thing. I was working with that guy today. He's new at
my
station. He's legit.

Ita: no problem using the email system as it just tells me if the person has a police email, hence, is a cop. We get audited on the public system though

craigo, I'm ex-bank.....they have no responsibility!!!!

if some bloke forges a cheque from "Vatican Bank"...you reckon the pope's going fix it up for you?

no matter what the cheque....you go into your bank, deposit into your account and pay cash($10 to $15), have it 'quick cleared' and 24 hours later you hand over the bike after checking the funds are cleared.

you take a bank cheque (purchased from ANZ) into a Westpac and put it into your account.....you still wait 3 business days....cause ANY cheque is as easy to forge as any other one.

Other than selling cars (usually traded) I have sold/bought using bank cheques and taking a copy of someone's I.D.
But then they have also usually visited me a few times before buying, not bought site unseen.
I know bank cheques can get canceled or be forged, in my experience I have never had a problem.
Sold my 620 by accepting one from a very excited kid!
Super I think you'll be fine, you'll know it when the bloke arrives. And if you get a funny feeling then tell him you'd like the
cheque to clear then you'll hand over the property.

Don, Scotty, Neil and the rest of the boys @ Penrith Ducati are legends AFAIK. Best Ducati service/repair experience I've had, I'd give them business any day.

Yes the boys at penrith are what all bike shops should be like , The way they treated my mate when he was shopping for his 1098s which he ended up buying from them was so good , I am taking my monster there for all its services ,tyres and everything and its where in 15 months I will be handing over my hard earned cash for a SFs or a 1198s still up in the air .

Yes the vast majority of people are honest law abidin' folk, but you and I don't want to end up dealing with those few exceptions to the rule, so for me it's always "show me the money"

I've only known him for a couple of months, but he did mention that he had found this really informative Monster site on the net. I showed him this one and he said "That's the one i was on". So that has to mean something....

But yeah, he's certainly not a squid.  Good bloke(Younger than me, so i will no longer be the youngest  coffee )

Oh, i did send him on a good foot chase last saturday night, he went quite well on that one  Grin

good luck mate....it's at the farm....the thieves would have to get past the dogs, the drooling zombie like cattle and.....the BANTAM chooks.

no one survives a bantam chook attack if they believe you may have food!

Try. But. try only if ye be men of valour, for the entrance to this farm is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived. Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave thieves, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.
