Neat stuff! Just wish they had used the occasion to make it a 848S model with Ohlins goodies. Like the Parts Unlimited 999s bikes.

Saw the bike Saturday, nice, but was hoping for a bit more pop. I was surprised the white on it was not the pearl color of the regular 848. I could be wrong there, maybe just need to see it outside in natural light.

I have to agree with Webspoke, was hoping for more shine. Speaking of paints, has anyone seen the Tricolore 1100? Saw one while traveling last week and was NOT impressed with the green at all.

There is a Tri-colore 1100? As in Monster 1100? I didn't know they made a Tri-colore since the 1098 and S4RS.
