has any one had there rims re powder coated mine look like there been hit with a sand blaster and wanted too know how expensive it is too have them redone cheers bazz

Matty has only recently had his (S4Rs) rims done ... but I think they were painted not powdercoated.

i had my S4R wheels repainted from white to blue and then had the edges machined in to the lip near the spokes, cost me about $600 iirc, but that was ride in ride out while i went o/s for a holiday.

yep had mine painted.
Couldn't find anyone trusted enough to PC.
Paid $400 cash and had a wheel striped painted also.

what paint did they use matty and loony got a few other bits to be done as well be fore finish putting every thing back after her yearly service  waytogo

don't know much about wheels...are the ones with a rough surface cast...and thats the texture of the cast/forged....or is that a post-mold surface treatment? O often see wheels that are charcoal is colour and have a rough surface to them.

  yep spider thats pretty mutch it the better rims you will see tool marks under the paint or powder coat in my case cheers bazz

love the white, not changing colour on wheels changing colour on a few other pieces tho , its just these country roads and sports tyres after nearly four years the back rim well is  gravel blasted   so send it of tomorrow to get p c cheers bazz

just got prices back 70 bucks per rim thats with zinc prime so thats cheap  waytogo
