Hey inspecting my rear after the track day yesterday and found a couple of small "patches" of rubber that appears to have lifted as shown below.

New Pilot power with 200km on it to scrub it in before track day....

Any cause for concern?Huh???

Haven't seen a PP do that before, have seen plenty of rubber "balling" on the edge of the tread blocks.
Can you push your finger into the rubber, as in feel that it has lifted at all?

The tyre feels fine and rode fine.....  Huh?

I'm with CairnsDuc on this one. waytogo

With our Club system of 5 lap sprints (And racing in  winter??  Roll Eyes. Something visitors from O/S have questioned.  Huh? ) it isnt unusual to see this sort of thing, when the tyre is trying to maintain traction while getting the "berries" from the lunatic riding the bike when dead cold.  Grin
Cold track surface also contributes to the issue as well. [moto]

I thought the cool thing about track days was you could warm up the tyres and then smash....what happened Big T...forget to do point a before proceeding to point b (ala 'the smashing').
