Carded a Monster at Melbourne Airport

Carded my first Monster today at Melbourne Airport.
I forgot to look at what model it was but it was red and had the standard white stripes on the tank and seat cowl. Guessing it was an S2R or something.
So if you've decided to check us out "Welcome!"
Cheers from the 'Meister.

Greetings Guys,
Good to see so much support for Dukes, when I first started riding them they were considered a bit unusual. My first was a 1986 Mike Hailwood Replica (Mille.....last of the big desmo twins), not exactly an easy bike to live with, uncomfortable after a couple of hours but man the twin pipes sounded awesome! And I had to clean and polish the thing after every ride.
The Monster is much easier as a day to day ride (it gets used every day, rain or shine), finding it very reliable, riding position is fine.....just doesn't quite have the exhaust note that I would like....any reasonable priced suggestions welcome!
Would have loved to have gone for the 1000S4R or even the Sport1000 but getting this one past the minister of finance was enough of a challenge!
Cheers

the science of large steel pipe hammered through the baffles....my old 1000s had stock pipes that were 'altered' and boy did it sound good.
so research away...it has been done and does work!

what's the better techniche....big bar and knock out huge amounts....or a thinner bar and put lots of holes through the baffles and that way you can 'slowly' core them?
I take it you undo the can from the s pipe and then bang down vertically?
Shoggy; let us know (update this thread) once you've done your research and conducted your mod!
BTW: Mate, you're not into skateboarding by any chance?
