I'm considering putting them back on since my son has been asking me to take him out for a ride for a while.

I had them off most of the time. I started getting tired of putting them back on to ride 2 up. I ended up getting them powdercoated black so they really aren't that noticeable anymore. I also look at them as a little extra protection for my exhaust in the event of a tip over.

I don't feel comfortable putting a passenger's life at risk. Took them off a while ago and I like it that way.

Got rid of those suckers a long time ago. When I have the time/$$$ I'm gonna cut off the mounting brackets as well. I hate looking at those things

Mine are on. My kids lov to ride on the back on their way to sports on Saturdays. I must say they've become good pillions. I don't think I'd ever want to pillion for an extended ride though!

I've got a pair, but I won't be around them for at least a few weeks. They're off my 06 s2r.

What would a reasonable person expect to pay for a set?

I would ask for $100 shipped. (that's what I offered my set for when I PM'd slipperymike) Ebay stores usually want around $150 and I have seen them more or less in that range in classifieds on forums.

So $100 including shipping or $100 plus shipping?

I took them off the tricolore as soon as I got it, over here in the UK you have to have pegs on if theres a pillion seat but if the pillion has a cover then the pegs can be removed. The hyper still has the pegs on but they were powder coated black when I first got the bike (to help hide the bloody things,) wish that you could get a cover for the pillion on that bike. Barb's says I'm enough of a hazard on my own without any body else on the pillion Hi Carlos, do'es it fit o/k.
