I see your point. But, we breed cows and chickens for food, we don't kill them in the wild. Whales on the other hand can't really be bred for their "scientific" uses, nor can we be 100% certain that we aren't hunting them to extinction...

Ran into a couple girls from GreenPeace today trying to get my money to save the blue whales after lunch.  I didn't appreciate their pusy tactics.

Pushy trying to keep us there while making me feel guilty because I wasn't giving them money.  Stopped me on the way into lunch and on the way out.  We went to lunch with Jimmy..aka..Bulletboy.  I wonder if they stopped them too?  I don't give cash to any cause.

that's irrelevant.  if that was the only option going, then that's what they used.  same problem we have with car fuels -- we only have gas and diesel for the most part, even though other fuels are viable.
