Thinking of getting some bar risers from monsterparts but I've noticed the resevoirs are already just below the stock fairing and I'm not sure how they'll fit if the handlebar height is raised....

anyone else run into this?

What sort of monster have you got? No problems on my S2R, if you want to check, get a piece of wood and cut it to the same size as the risers and stick it under the bars, you'll probably need a couple of sets of hands to achieve this.

I've fitted risers to both a s2r and s4r without any problems, before you buy have a look at rizoma bars they are a much neater way of lifting the grips plus they move the the grips back a little.

I used a Renthall Dirt Bike bar, Renthal   , Mini MX Bend, 671-01-TT, Titainum. I had to pull some of the wiring up, and drill holes for the pins on the controls. It's higher, it's farther back, it's comfy, I like it, plus I did this mod before Speedmoto had the really really nice risers...
