All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

I'd like to add a few things here. The Sunday morning Starbucks ride is not a "Ducati" ride, although there are a few Ducs in the group. It is not a ride that was organized or led by anyone on this forum. Ben & I have been tagging along, as it were, for a while now because of an invitation we got a long time ago when we were trying to get our own forum group together on a regular basis and the meeting times crossed. That, and mostly because Ben & I were the only two that would show up regularly. Maybe they felt sorry for us.  laughingdp The folks in that group are highly experienced and ride all the time. Read what you will into that statement. I usually feel like an anchor.

I'm all for new folks coming out but I get the feeling that it might be better if we set off in a sub-group first for a few rides to sort things out and get to know each other before jumping right into the former group. That's just me and maybe I'm being a bit conservative

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

I could deal w/a DMF only ride group... not like I could keep up w/the fast kids anyway

I should be there this Saturday.  But as stated previously, I'm not one of the fast guys   Sad

No worries, it's all good.  There is a time and a place for everything, and speeding through the twisties is included in that.  We'll take it mellow on this ride, and any time the pace gets a bit high, we will chill out and wait for those that would rather maintain a more relaxed pace.

My main goal is to get more and more Ducati riders together, so we can all head out and enjoy ourselves.

Well, that is kind of implied.  Falls into the "goes without saying" category.

I prefer just a speedo when I ride.....makes it a lot cooler.

I should be there Saturday (as long as  I behave myself friday night)
