I prefer just a speedo when I ride.....makes it a lot cooler.
I should be there Saturday (as long as I behave myself friday night)
Um, second thought, maybe I can't make it this Saturday
j/k I should be there

I won't be able to make it tomorrow, my bike has been at South Seas for the last 4 days now it's still not fixed.
I took it in late Monday because the dash has been intermittently resetting itself since I brought it home. Will fixed a loose dash connection at the 600 mile service and I thought that was it, then late last week it started up again...this has happened at least 10 times in the first 1000 miles or so.
The dealership called DNA and they instructed Will to go through the entire wiring harness, checking each connection. Will finished up earlier today and took it for a test ride and the dash reset itself 3 times.
When the dash does this, all the warning lights cycle as if the key has just been switched on, then the check engine light comes on with a momentary loss of power, the screen flashes a code, then it's back to normal function except that the trip meter and clock have been reset to zero...it all happens in an instant.
I am extremely frustrated, to say the least...

It was good to meet you guys today. Thanks for the inauguration ride, and breakfast! It was a good time. I won't be able to make it out for the next 2 weekends though. Work and a conference requires my presence. Hopefully I'll get my initial 600 break in miles by the time I return

Started off at the usual meeting point and headed out east through Hawaii Kai and Makapu Point. Traffic was no where to be seen through the rocks and I think it was the only time I have seen a clear rode through there, but then karma caught up with is in the form of a pick-up in Waimanalo. From there we hit Norfolk and Thirteen Turns, then made our way west for Tech Park and Snake. Had breakfast out at the little joint in Waimalu (spelling?). I ended up taking the Daytona out later on and making a few runs down Norfolk to try and make a few suspension changes...

I think by Waimalu he means Waialua, at the Ka'ala Cafe.
Oh, and by Makapu he means Makapu'u
