All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

Started off at the usual meeting point and headed out east through Hawaii Kai and Makapu Point. Traffic was no where to be seen through the rocks and I think it was the only time I have seen a clear rode through there, but then karma caught up with is in the form of a pick-up in Waimanalo. From there we hit Norfolk and Thirteen Turns, then made our way west for Tech Park and Snake. Had breakfast out at the little joint in Waimalu (spelling?).  I ended up taking the Daytona out later on and making a few runs down Norfolk to try and make a few suspension changes...

He also means "clear road" instead of "rode" but, hey, who's keeping score??  laughingdp

Suspension changes you say....... the 848 is almost 100% sorted out. Bring it on.  [moto]

Next weekend I should have taken possession of my household goods and the bike, but I've gotta get a battery, change the oil and filter, and get her running. Shooting for next weekend, but all I can do is hope the movers schedule is free next week.

Cool.  The exercise at work will be over by then, so I will probably be down to ride either Saturday or Sunday, maybe even both.  Just keep us posted on when your stuff gets here.

Dude, they're going to have both of you "deployed" now? Or are you headed up to Monterey as well?

I've scheduled to bring my bike to SS for a check up and safety check this Saturday before my warranty ends in Sept.  So definitely can't make it this Saturday.  My friend who has a 696 and I are planning on riding on Friday, since it is Admission day.  So if anyone is interested, I can post more details once I find out the plan tonight.

Yeah, I don't either, but I'm starting my leave tomorrow, so it's close enough.

That's cool then.  At least you and the wiff get to spend some more time together.  Scenery is good too.   waytogo
