Doesn't look as if I'll be there, my SF is sitting at the dealer awaiting a new dash module...DNA denied a request to swap in a unit from a floor model...part was ordered on Monday...

What time are you guys looking at heading out Trey?

Well, hoping that I get all the work done to the bike after it's delivered, I'm pretty flexible. If she's put back together, I'd love to go explore the Island. All I need is an address and a time to meet and I'll be there. Maybe I'll let the wife come too. But only if she's good. Grin

lol  I just got some new clip-ons in the mail, and I am going to try and whack them on.  When is your bike getting delivered?  Is it not here yet?

I've scheduled to bring my bike to SS for a check up and safety check this Saturday before my warranty ends in Sept.  So definitely can't make it this Saturday.  My friend who has a 696 and I are planning on riding on Friday, since it is Admission day.  So if anyone is interested, I can post more details once I find out the plan tonight.

What time are you looking at heading out tomorrow?

It's August and the factory is on vacation until September so don't be holding your breath.  Why couldn't you ride the bike until the part comes in?

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Yeah.  That number, with 00 after it and $ before it, is his budget.  He just needs a simple bike for pedaling around and maybe riding to work.  Basic is the key word here.

Why couldn't you ride the bike until the part comes in?

The bike loses power momentarily when the dash resets, there's concern that the boilers may not relight when this happens...

The part was scheduled to be delivered by DHL today, hopefully I can reunite with my SF tomorrow and stop all this whining I've been doing as of late... Grin
