I'm working on my brake upgrade and a radial master caught my eye.

What do I do for a mirror mount?

I know there are separate clamps, but I'm not sure there is room for them on my clip ons - the space between electrical controls and the (clip on) bar pinch clamp is 41-42mm.
So, will that be enough for both the master and the mirror mount clamp?

That WOULD get rid of the ugly mirror wideners, wouldn't it  Grin

But, I'm tall and there is no way it would be functional/safe for me to look that far down.

grab the masters off the streetfighter...

Which way "grab"  Huh? When the owner looks the other way Grin Hmmm ... my dealer has a demo - I guess I could return it and play confused when I complain about the missing front brakes  coffee

Even if I could get a good price (not likely?) they have the new smaller bolts, don't you think?

The ducati accessory catalog has some mounts for hypermotards that I think would work with other radial masters.  The street fighter would prob. be another good source.  I have heard of other companies making them but have not seen them for sale.
I'm not a big fan of the looks of bar end mirrors, but on the bikes I've ridden that have had them the visability was excellent.

Plenty of tall people use bar end mirrors. They are far easier to use than any other style of mirror IMO. That's cool if you don't like them, but I don't think your reasoning here is correct.

You see, I was told that the aftermarket Brembo radial masters have an offset bolt pattern. This consideration also excludes the ones BevelHaven has. I will have to check the HM to see if that is the case on it's masters. Diificult to tell from the parts catalogue. The SF has a smaller mirror mount bolt, I think, so it's no good either.

My reasoning is fine (mostly) - there will be a longer way down to the bar end mirrors than to conventional mirrors. This head travel might even be enhanced by how far back (at least with clip ons) they are positioned.

My consern is the danger of taking my eyes away from traffic in front of me. I understand the quality of bar ends view, since there is no need to move elbows around to be able to know what's behind, but the degree of head movement is a negative.

Back on topic: nobody has conventional mirrors AND radial masters? Seen them anywhere?

stopintime,

I know the radials you're referring to, bling bling.  I won one in a raffle several years ago but could not get them to fit with my cycle cat clip-ons and sold it.   The bolt pattern is offset, not the same as the stock ones you find on any duc.  If you're set on not using bar end mirrors, then get a set taken off from a duc with radials.  You can get a mirror mount then from Yoyodyne or what ever source of your choice.

best of luck

if you look at those clamps, the bolt pattern is not offset.  That won't work with the radial pump master the OP was referring to.
