I was on a road trip with the wife down to the Bay Area in California when we got a flat tire.  I pulled over to figure out what was up.  It was the valve stem, snapped off at the base and let all the air out.  I changed the tire and figured I would limp down the road to the next tire shop to get it fixed.

As I'm pulling off the side street where I stopped (this in in North Bend, OR) I saw a moto shop with tons of tires up on racks, 'Moe's Bike Shop'.  I stepped into the shop, explained what just happened, and asked if they could help me out.  They told be to bring in the tire.  They got me a new valve stem and the tire was fine.  I swapped off the donut spare and was back on my way.  Total time from pulling over to being back on the road was only 30 minutes.  There was no charge but I gave them $20 for helping me out.

Thanks guys!
